The raven on the chandelier is just too cool... and cat proof too (!)... unless your cats are prone to swinging on light fixtures. I may totally have to steal that idea. And bless your heart Anet, for the nose and finger comment you left me. I needed that today more than you could know. Still chuckling... and counting my blessings for wonderful friends.
Thank you for the warm and lovely comments:) ~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~ Tara, I'm counting my blessings too! ~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~ Hi Rocco, That's a portrait of Martha Washington (George's wife.) She is really creepy, isn't she? When it's not Halloween she hangs in the upstairs hallway... just to keep it a little creepy around here the rest of the year:)
Welcome, This blog is for all my silly whimsy;
My folk art, altered art, thrifty finds, some favorite poetry, photography, my love for a good old fashion Halloween and Christmas, vintage photos and images, the vintage witchy in me and just some ramblings....

It's all so pretty. I love the Raven (crow?) on the lighting fixture, and the decorations on the mantle. Lovely.

It is fun and cozy at your house! Those ghosts have good taste of where to haunt!
What a great page! Love the old lady hanging picture. Who is she? Very spooky. I'm going to visit everyday 'till Halloween.
Oh my gosh, your decorations are gorgeous! I love the orange lights amongst the guests on your mantle and the raven on the chandelier is perfect!
